MAIN OBJECTIVES
For attendees to better understand the theory and practice of acupuncture as a system of medicine applied to veterinary patients in a manner consistent with current practice in the United States.

For attendees to understand and integrate the ideas of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and be able to use that understanding to formulate effective treatments for their patients. This should also include the ability to explain these ideas to other professionals and their clients.

For attendees to become proficient in providing safe and effective acupuncture treatment to both small animals (canine) and large animals (equine), based on a thorough and complete patient examination, and to understand the acupuncturist's role in the integrative veterinary setting.
