Target audience: Licensed professionals trained in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation or “Animal Chiropractic.”
Objective and goals:
• Students will be able to define and describe the difference between Travell and Jones Trigger Points
• Students will be able to describe and apply manual treatments to address trigger points.
• Students will be able to define and describe manual therapies (massage, myofascial release, stretching, mobilization, traction, hypermobility) addressing joint motion.
• Students will be able to describe how the sacral motion can be improved to influence spinal health.
• Students will be able to examine patients, identify trigger points, and provide valid treatment protocols that may include: NMES/TENS, LASER, PEMF, and or kinesio-tape.

This CE program is approved for 16 Contact Hours by the AHVMA (see below), the College of Animal Chiropractors, and the IVCA by reciprocity.

Note: The AHVMA is an AVMA “Affiliate.”/”Constituent”/”Satellite” organization approved CE are recognized in the following states: AK, AR, CA, CT, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, VT

Additionally, the following states approve courses that are approved by “another state board”: MA, RI, UT

  • US Dept. of Education Validated CE through an Accredited Institution of Higher Learning (Healing Oasis) = 16 hrs.
