This year, we would like to dedicate our conference to two outstanding mentors and teachers from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. They have educated, trained, and mentored thousands of not only veterinarians but also veterinary technicians. They serve as an inspiration and set standards that we should strive for. I am who I am because of them, and I hope to provide our profession and humanity 1/100th of what they have shared with me.
From the Dept. of Basic Medical Sciences and Neuroanatomy, now retired and enjoying family. I learned from him, that drawing everything, helps you learn it and teach it.
The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor of Small Animal Surgery, and Interim Director of the Veterinary Nursing Program, and soon to retire! I learned from her to challenge myself and help elevate our profession. She is currently the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor of Small Animal Surgery, and Interim Director of the Veterinary Nursing Program, and will soon retire. I learned from her to challenge myself and help elevate our profession.
To top it all off, our conference will begin with Dr. Gregory Cramer (Dean of Research at the National University of Health Sciences, Lombard, IL) discussing the latest information about fascia. Dr. Cramer was previously recognized not only as a mentor and inspiration, but also as a leader in the chiropractic profession. We knew Dr. Anderson for many decades. Every time she attended one of our CE seminars or the annual conference, she brought her Australian dogs, plenty of energy, a wealth of knowledge, and her unique sense of humor. The veterinary profession and the world will be less.
